This website has been created to give some useful information about the  value of transvaginal ultrasound scanning in the diagnosis and management of gynaecological and infertility problems. Part of the text was written to show the normal anatomy and the deviation from such normality caused by disease. I have generated all the photographs used in this website during my long practice. The site is meant to give balanced information mainly to younger colleagues who might be interested to learn how to utilize ultrasonography in their gynaecological and infertility practice. It is not meant to give a diagnosis or set the management plan for any specific condition or any individual patient.
